WORK/TRAVEL FOR AS LADDER ASSIST

TRAVEL$$ & Vacation and MAJOR STORM events

  • The hardest part of the job is the TRAVEL, but if you want to make great money (6 figures + per year), then ladder assist is the job for you.
  • LADDER ASSIST is a FULL TIME JOB- Carriers are using adjusters for less and less claim inspections and outsourcing to the the ladder assist industry

  • Travel is expected 2-3 weeks EVERY MONTH for  traveling ladder assist.
  • SLOW MONTHS ARE DEC 15-JAN 15 every year.
  • Hotels are all usually paid by the company that you are sub contracting
  • Biggest expense is going to be the GAS driving to your claims and your food costs

CAT CLAIMS, or catastrophic claims, result from a CATASTROPHE. They are typically large numbers of losses occurring due to a single event. As a result, insurance companies must allocate extra resources to handle the large influx of claims. That's when the CAT Ladder Assist team TRAVELS asap to help the insureds.

When you work for the ladder assist you may be sent, or deployed, to an area that has been devastated by a catastrophic event.
Whether it is a weather event like a tornados, hail storm, or hurricane, Noreaster, derecho (land hurricane) ladder assists are needed to handle the massive number of claims that have been filed as a result.

WIND EVENTS are EXCELLENT $$, because there usually is a lot of TARPING on the roof. (DOUBLE BILLING inspection of the property and TARPING if authorized by the carrier) Catastrophic insurance adjusters and LADDER ASSIST are normally required to travel to the affected area to assist with those claims. Many times you will receive high volume of claims as soon as you arrive The most common types of cat claims are flood, wind or tornado damage, fire, and hail. Because their work aligns with major weather events, cat adjusters have busier seasons depending on the area. They also pay attention to hurricane predictions and other seasonal changes to plan where they may be needed. How long do cat deployments last? 2-3 weeks or basically as long as you are needed and the volume of claims continue to come in… (If you can stay on the road, continue to stay out to make good money)

VACATION planning

How do you plan vacations? DECEMBER AND JANUARY are the slower times of the year, so take time off then. Typically if you leave from a deployment or assignment you will not be allowed to come back to resume earning income and have to wait for the next chance you have…. So risking a week long vacation in the middle of a storm can be a six figure mistake!
  • LADDER ASSIST is a FULL TIME JOB- Carriers are using adjusters for less and less claim inspections and outsourcing to the the ladder assist industry
  • When major events happen you must be able to travel as soon as possible, (THE LONGER YOU WAIT you will miss out on major money)
